Welcome to SeaShore Sea Glass, I do hope you enjoy looking at my jewellery. I have spent nearly all of my adult life making jewellery, SeaShore Sea Glass is my true passion – collecting beautiful Sea Glass and making it into beautifully unique jewellery. Most of my sea glass comes from the South West of the UK. I spend most of my time on local beaches in the Devon & Cornwall area, close to where I live. I may have Sea Glass from other beaches as I travel. These beautiful pieces of genuine sea glass jewellery were chosen by me Lovingly cleansed and nurtured to show off it's true beauty, with the addition of Sterling silver or Silver Plated components.
Naturally produced sea glass ("genuine sea glass") originates as pieces of glass from broken bottles, broken tableware, or even shipwrecks, which are rolled and tumbled in the ocean for years until all of their edges are rounded off, and the slickness of the glass has been worn to a frosted appearance. Sea Glass can have natural blemishes on the surface due to the nature of the product. Sea Glass therefore in its nature is not a ‘perfect piece’, but more of 'beauty in the eye of the beholder'
